340-079 AYP 134148 Mulching Blade make use of the grass clippings to help nourish your lawn. The concept behind mulching is environmentally positive. Instead of bagging and disposing of the clippings, why not put them back on the lawn to decompose and add back the nutrients they store? The clippings must be chopped into very fine pieces so they don't leave glass clumps on the lawn. With an expanded cutting edge, mulching blades finely cut and spread the clippings evenly over the lawn.
- Mulching blades act in three ways:
- Blade pulls grass upwards for a clean cut
- The expanded cutting edge chops clippings into finer pieces
